A Hollow Whimper
by Emily Christison
(2010)
This film was a metaphorical journey into the subconscious. I wanted to explore the ways in which the human mind deals with fears and phobias. While making the film I had to overcome some of my own fears as I was placed in circumstances that I was not always comfortable with. An important process in making the film was choosing locations because I wanted to work within my own geographic area this process created a lot of the mood within the film. Editing was very important in the final product as it represented the eclectic state of the human mind.
